What to Expect from Your Glo2Facial

The Glo2facial’s two handheld applicators and their attachments deliver the treatment in three steps:

1. Oxfoliation™:  A Glo2Facial OxyPod is added to the handheld applicator. This Oxypod reacts with a Primer Gel applied to the skin, providing gentle exfoliation in a bubbly, CO2-rich environment. This triggers a natural response in the body that creates a surge of oxygen in the blood, which helps transform and nurture the underlying structures of the skin. There is no pulling or tugging involved in this exfoliation method, so it is suitable for all skin types and comfortable to the patient. 
2. Lux (Light Ultrasound Waves): For this step, the applicator tip uses lite ultrasound to emit micro-vibrations that instantly smooth the skin and increase the permeability of the skin’s protective barrier. This improves the skin’s ability to absorb nutrients applied in the third step. 
3. Detox: In the final step, the applicator tip provides a relaxing massage that helps reduce redness, puffiness and improve lymphatic drainage. How Does the Glo2Facial Treatment Work?

The Glo2Facial achieves amazing skin rejuvenation results through a chemical phenomenon known as the Bohr effect. The Bohr effect describes how the affinity of hemoglobin for oxygen is decreased when the concentration of carbon dioxide (CO2) increases. This is because CO2 reacts with water to form carbonic acid, which lowers the pH of the blood. A lower pH causes hemoglobin to release oxygen more easily. This oxygen-rich blood is then delivered to the deeper layers of the skin, enhancing collagen production, healing, cellular activity, reducing hyperpigmentation, fine lines, and texture.
